  • Last Eruption: Around 1910 (minor activity); major eruption ~8,000 years ago.

  • Crater: Massive and partially collapsed, forming a horseshoe-shaped ridge open to the east.

  • Route: Momella Route (the only official trail)

  • Duration: Typically 3 to 4 days

  • Distance: ~45–50 km round-trip

  • Starting Point: Momella Gate (1,500m)

  • Summit: Socialist Peak (4,566m)
