Kilimanjaro Machame 7 Days Trek

0
  • 7 Days
  • Group : 1-100 People
  • Guided Backpacking

The Machame Route (also called the “Whiskey Route”) is one of the most popular and scenic treks up Mount Kilimanjaro (5,895m / 19,341ft). It takes 7 days, giving enough time to acclimatize to altitude. The route approaches Kilimanjaro from the southwest and descends via the Mweka Route. Trekkers enjoy varied landscapes: lush rainforest, moorland, alpine desert, and arctic summit zone. With proper preparation, determination, and support from guides/porters, most trekkers can reach the summit at Uhuru Peak, the “Roof of Africa.”
